"As many of you are probably already aware; G's blog was closed earlier today. To save him the hassle of explaining it over and over again, I'll post the bulk of the news here to give you some idea what's going on.
As many readers of G's blog know, he doesn't always say the nicest things about people. Stereotyping if you will. I do the same, and don't we all. prejudice exists in every society on every level. Given our enviroment, we are exposed to many levels of opinion.
Unfortunately, Glenunga International High School discovered G's blog, how we don't yet know, and as a result they are enforcing a new, and somewhat unjustified, law which requires G to remove the site or he will not be able to return to GIHS to sit for his final exam.
Ms. Shame called G's mum earlier this morning with the news.
This is a stressful time for everyone. Exam week is not yet over, and we are all trying out hardest to make the best of our schooling. What we, the students, don't need is another reason verbally abuse GIHS. Its definitely not the best school. As many ex-students on blogger write, its by far not a recommended source of secondary education. G has been stripped of his rights. Its good to know our school can still tell us when our opinions are wrong. We are not stupid, on a daily basis we are exposed to world events and perspectives which do not share the best side of people, religions or societies, as a result we are able to form our own opinions on these matters, and how we choose to express these matters are of no conern. Whilst it may seem menial, a whole notice board upstairs is devoted to anti-Howard propaganda. The school supports religion, but frowns upon athiesm, saying its a radical view for a public school (which is legally not allowed to express religion). Racism exists at GIHS, from all sides. Its an international school, with international students. We have a small world community and people react stereotypically to an entire nationality based upon the actions of these students. We are in an enviroment with problems, world issues on a global scale, condensed into a school enviroment. Targeting a single blog by a single student will not solve this issue.

Hahah that was me! *gloats* Good old Wikipedia...
The irony.
A lot of what G had to say i was very much against. However the fact that he has been targeted in such a way is rubbish and deragotory to all of us. We live in a democratic nation where within reason we are allowed to say what we want. Was G racist to Muslims i believe possibly but the fact that G.I.H.S has gone to such lengths to bring him down shows how pathetic the school really is.
If he is so bad how come the hosts didn't take him down. And how come Childporn, hate sites, sites that promote rape and assault are still allowed to flourish?
If a school can do so much, why can't the police? It's a strange and perplexing world.
What we are seeing here is exactly what is being mirrored by democratic governments ironically they are the same people G is politically inclined to.
Personal freedoms are being targeted and dissent and viewpoints discouraged. We truely are turning towards a very dictorial or controlled democracy.
But my point is to show and prove how bad glenunga is.
Glenunga is a public school. So there should be complete secularism- so no muslim prayers, no christian group no mt turland and his bias.
secondly it's only the "best" public highschool cause of government grants.
Realistically it is an empowerment of the rich eastern suburbs.
To me the glenunga beaucracy is big, hhypocritical and full of self intrested people.
It pools it's resources to the ignite and ib program while other people and services lie rotting.
They continually deny this. but it's true.
Ouq "great"leader Mr Knight tried to bring in P21 which would have resulted in a greater dictatorshiop of the school.
Think about this and make sure people know. Glenunga must be taught a lesson and it's prestige tarnished. It has done nothing for many students. While for others international and state trips, high class teaching with small rooms iws allowed, computer resources in general were shit there and from all reports still are.
The biggest irony is the blatant favouritism to foreign and ignite and ib students. They are cared for while others are nothing. Violence is masked, i was assaulteed and the boy got 3 days suspension and it was a serious assault which drew blood.
As well i saw the blatent slowed response to Gangster type kids.
Make G.I.H>S pay. Make sure that others now the truth about this school
Um are you all aware that by commenting badly about Glenunga this site is still doing what they tried to stop it doing? Be careful G or they're gonna say you're site is still actively insulting the school....just a thought.

Good God. I hated all of your opinions and thought you were a racist bigot. But you still have the right to express yourself and this helps nothing. Before I thought you were a jerk, now I see you as a victim. Fuck GIHS, what a bunch of beaurocratic asswipes trying to censor and restrict people's freedom of expression for their own bullshit 'reputation' (but please may they let me sit my exams). Honsetly, who is reading this stuff who is about to go to Glenunga and shouldn't they be happy that students have strong opinions and want to articulate them even if they don't agree? I've pretty much liked my time there for the bulk of it, but that's because being in the ignite program I've had the best of everything. You're right that they do discriminate a lot. What's more, the people behind the scenes who run the school from the background (the beaurocrats and some of the councellors) know about as much about how to manage people as the hunchback of Notre Dame.
Continue your nasty blog as soon as your exams are finished G and show them they can't stop you!

Something that really shits me above everything else at GIHS, is that it circumvents new rules to deal with new situations that arise. Because teachers from glenunga are probably reading this im gonna name the person Z. Z got suspended for his "uniform" early this year and basically the skool found a way to exclude him from the education system. so he had to write a formal apology to ask permission to continue studying at glenunga. Fair enough he wasnt wearing the right uniform, but who the fuck can tell him what to do in the sense that he attends a public school. The rules and regualtions for uniform do not have to be abided by at GIHS because one can not be punished in a public school for non uniform conformity. They cannot enforce a rule or regulation such as this with punishments, they can only "reccomend" conforming. The reason the school pinned him down for exclusion is for "harassing another student" and continually disobeying dresscodes. The harrassment issue was resolved weeks before the excusion, basically he punched his mate in class when it was all silent and the teacher thought it was something it wasnt. and it wasnt like he was 100% out of uniform, he didnt have his tie done up all the way to his neck and the shirt wasnt "tucked" in on a few occasions, to which 13 detentions all up weregiven out.
This school has gone overboard now. they have somehow found the right to take away peoples freedom of speech and the right to be ones self. They have gone from singleing out minorities to having control of the world wide web.

Im a little confused, G had to remove his blog beacuse of his racist comments or was it also to do with the GIHS bashing (which he didnt really do)?
I mean, if its only the racist thing, he can always plaster the "work you bitch" sticker on his blog, and GIHS cant stop him.
A very very intresting point. For the last 2 previous years during the year 12 period nearly all articles relating to year 12 came from Glenunga international high school> I am serious the results booklet contained all gihs year 12 students. All though not mentioned it was obvious if you had gone to that school. This shows how bias, favoured and cunning GIHS is as well as how shit the media is.
It is rubbish. Are there not other schools and not from the eastern suburbs??
Check out this year i'm betting a lot if not most of the articles are from gihs students. I wouldn't be surprised to see last years/this years school captains either.

that's hell funny, but i don't understand why the hell they would really care. i mean sure there was shit said about glenunga, but it wasn't really all that bad...but it's an opinion of one of the students...not saying that i agree with everything that he said, but just because people read his blog and somethings he said we didn't like and were maybe racist, then we all know it's that persons opinion. we each have our own don't we??
it almost like they are reneging on our Freedom of Speech...next thing we know we won't be able to have our own thoughts and views...we will become mindless zombies and have everything force feed to us and if we dis-agree then we are prosecuted for it....take the new law going to come in about Australian's not going to be able to impersonate or say anything bad about the PM....talk about taking away some freedom...

However, I made a post about wanting muslims out of Europe and a post taking the piss out of homosexuality.
This is what I am in 'trouble' for, not insulting the school.

I am not exactly sure. However:
1) Posts have been made and the site viewed on school computers using various student accounts. However, the posts regarding my controversial opinions were not posted from school.
2) If the controversial opinions were posted from school, using their computers, it would be a breach of their usage conditions. The simple fact is that they weren't.
There is no reasonable reason why I should be threatened in such a way - especially to deny me access to an exam crucial to my achievement.

id put the site back up and write as much derogatory shit you can about the school. why are they so worried about these sites? because glenunga is so royaly out of line i cant understand how the place is still in business. to whoever mention mr knight trying to bring in partnership 21. he did and the government gave him a wad of cash and 5 more years as principal for it. because no one else wanted him because the man is a drunk and a fucking idiot, seriously.
if any teachers are reading this ill be happy to have a heated argument with you about the subject, ive had enough of glenunga and the amazing amount of shit they have done over the years. take mr knights graduation speach for instance. not only does the man not care about the students he only uses there achievments to promote himself and brown nose some politians for a bit of money or a building. fucken advertisment is all it was.

The school cpatians were either the students favourites (and thus usually wankers) or Mr knights little relica mdels. Intresting fact - one year Mr knight didn't like the 2 boys that applied for school captain he chose a boy called Jacl Last and basically MR knight picked him without considering others.
About p21 he was a big supporter and was given money for the school for it. P21 was voted out and never properly made it in.
